I took a walk down to the farmers market in the snow and the 1 trains were running across the Harlem Viaduct. I figure maybe some here would be interested in Snowy day Subway. Harlem Viaduct. #subwaytrain #mta

The last step of gluing down the track was to detail the KATO viaduct. I don’t care for the new plastic shine of KATO’s viaduct, so I wanted to hit it with a coat of hobby Matte spray. What a difference a coat of Matte can make! Then I thought I could make it look…

It’s the early 70s and we caught this Amtrak train heading over the spillway towards its terminus at Crescent City. The engines are Rapido and the cars are a mix of Walthers and Rapido Trains Inc. .

Painted up a few Kato signals with a paint marker, put some AK Terrains Sandy Desert paint down and the Desert Soil on top of it to hopefully dry w/ the paint, added some more fallen rock and the end result of the original test area with the desert soil.
