With changes throughout the community, the fleet has been well, it’s been an interesting 2025, and I’m pleased with the good things that have happened to me over the past few months. I just wish it didn’t end like this.

My new Rapido Sd7 demonstrator has arrived. It’s certainly one of my favorite looking locomotives that I currently own.

I generally do steam and compressed air locomotives but a family member used to work in a railyard back in the 1980s where he saw a lot of Santa Fe diesels in the blue and yellow scheme. I designed and built this model for him, and then I built one for myself too. LOL It’s all standard parts though my self-designed livery was printed directly…

Hello everyone. I am Phoenix Train Works and I model educational models of trains used in the STEM fields, both unusual locomotives and hazardous cargo cars. Here’s a photo of a GP 35 I designed and built for a relative who worked with trains back in the 1980s.

Had this locomotive since the 1980’s. Broke the OEM railings back in the 2000’s. Got replacements off Ebay in 2024 and painted them. Still one of my favorite Erie Lackawanna locomotives!

Thank you, Jimmy, for sharing this on your YouTube channel! It is nice to have a friendly place to enjoy model trains with others.
I model a HO scale, small fictional historical freelance Conrail layout in the late seventies, in an imaginary place called West Ramapo, somewhere in northwestern NJ. Besides Conrail, I also like the Erie…
