@casey-jones Thanks, I try to do a lot of beginner level content to get others interested in the model railroad world. With Z Scale, especially, it really goes to show how you can have a full setup in such a small amount of space!

That was also my intent with my 48 inch layout that I put together for show. I find that people, while they love the impressive layouts. Seem overwhelmed when it comes to doing all the aspects of modeling. However if you start them easy, they are more receptive. Also get them interested in joining a local club, where they can find other likeminded people to collaborate with on projects.

Yeah, when you see a layout that’s all lit up with buildings and fine urban details it can definitely be intimidating to start building that. There’s plenty of more basic ways to start and that’s what I really like showing people.
