First Ops Session of 2026
Last night I went out on Long Island to operate on the NPSF. Was fun I ran the local and a second way frieght dodging Amtrak and Roadrunner Commuters.

looks like the santa fe engine has some add on a/c units on the cab. I wonder if the engine came like that or owner modified.

@casey-jones the owner’s story is that there are no Santa Fe engines on this layout. There are former Santa Fe engines that the company which bought the line and now runs it purchased and repainted in a similar paint scheme with NPSF. And yes, all the engines are planned to be modernized and super detailed for their new uses and to reflect their history. The layout was featured in MRH a few years ago.
