Operations Schematics
My layout is almost to the point where I can operate it on a daily basis while continuing to construct it. I’ve started working on more detailed operations schemes. I planned some basic operations prior to beginning construction but wanted to get more out of the layout. I’ve designed 4 yard jobs, 2 local jobs, and 2 road jobs using only 3 industries and a layout in a 9′ x 9′ space. Here are the four schematics I’ve come up with. If you’re familiar with creating these, let me know if any pertinent info is missing.
The track names are based on the GMRC prototype from R.W Nimkes book and track diagrams.
