Hi, I am currently 8 years into the build of my my fully scenic vintage Hornby Dublo 3 rail layout “Little Weldon” measuring 11’4″ x 5’10”. My original aim was to try and build a typical layout such as could be seen gracing the pages of the Meccano Magazine during the late fifties / early sixties. Using products and techniques available from the period of Hornby Dublo production 1938 – 1964. There are a few anomalies such as the extensive use of Linka and Scalecast moulds in the build of the Ruined Castle.
