How old?
Today I visited a local(-ish) show, and on one of the traders stalls I found a Triang 7 plank Conversion wagon, it has 00 coupling one end and Dumblo the other end. It got me thinking the the wagon must be at least 52 years old if not more. Obviously it was not the oldest item for sale at the show, one trader had three rail Dumblo locomotives and other Dumblo items.
Does anybody think about the age of used equipment they buy? I know the price I paid (which I was happy with) but in hindsite was probably twice the cost of the original cost on the wagon when new.
