Dry brushed for the first time!
I finished the last bit of static grass and added subtle dry brushing to bring out more depth and texture. The difference is small… but it completely changes the realism.
Next step: ballasting the last parts of track properly
After that, I want to upgrade the trees to something even more realistic.
Any pro tips for super clean ballast work or ultra-realistic trees?

any ballast laid will be clean only after it is first laid, after that when trains drive over you will find stains, and any wind will blow debris onto the tracks. they will never look pristine again,
