From New Jersey

I’ve been into trains since I was 3 years old. Started with O gauge Lionel. In my early teenage years I spent a lot of time selling and buying at swap meets. In my late teens, I learned more about the railroad. Being a New Jersey native, The Black River and Western has always been my go to place. At 16 years old, I started volunteering with them. Started out as a trainman, and worked various jobs including brakeman and conductor. Eventually became an engineer.

This was over a span of 17 years.

In the meantime, I was working at an industrial park as a conductor. Eventually I found my way to Conrail shared assets in North Jersey. I was a conductor for 3 years and I’ve been an engineer for 7.

I’ve switched to HO scale but I do have a majority of O gauge still. I have a few items of 2 rail O scale and N scale.
