• Daily Dose of GWR

Im back! And today’s topic is the GWR 3901 class. The 3901 was a 2-6-2t class of loco s rebuilt from old Dean Goods locomotives. 20 of those were produced. Most of them were sent to birmingam, with some reaching out of the yard. Funnily enough, they were desinged by William Dean, but carried out by George Jackson Churchwood. They were quietly phases out by large prairies. All of them were scrapped in the period of 3 years between 1931 and 1934.
