I don’t really have much to share regarding my N scale trains at the moment. I hope to begin construction of my layout soon. In the mean time, here’s my 5 N scale locomotives. They are in order of when I got them, with the Bachman GP40 as my first and the Kato ES44AC as my most recent.

You have an interesting lineup so far! What kind of cars do you plan on running?

@BananaTie At the moment, anything I can get my hands on. I do eventually want to have unit trains of grain hoppers and coal porters at some point though. And I have 8 Great Northern passenger cars for the F7. I’d like to get another 4-pack (if I can find one for a reasonable price) to have an 12-car GN passenger train with an observation car. I’ll have to get a B unit and another A unit to pull all of them though. The single F7 I have will pull them but it struggles on curves.

With such a (potentially) very long train, you should plan for a long “panorama” or “scenic” stretch of track, where the whole train can be admired in all its glory.
