Old HO scale 4x8 track plan.
Is there a way I can use this Atlas Snap-track plan with modern track and electronics? And if so, what would you recommend? I would like to keep the layout as DC

Have you tried replicating the plan in a track planning software? SCARM and AnyRail have free versions that should allow you to create the layout virtually to see what pieces of track you’ll need. In terms of keeping it DC, that is definitely doable! Should only need a simple analog controller and some feeder wires to a few sections of the layout.

I don’t see why not, Bachman has a large selection of ez-track that may fit the bill.
