I see that there are some new members trickling in! Welcome to the Dakota Modelers Group corner of modeltrainmedia.com! I’m starting to build up some content that I hope people will enjoy including projects in collaboration with other modelers in the local area and those who are interested in modeling railroads of the upper Midwest.
Eventually I’ll also get polls and such going. How about people introduce each other in a comment. I’d like to hear from people.
My own layout is an 8×12 sectional design in HOn3 which models a part of the Black Hills and Fort Pierre around 1900. It is my hope to eventually get the layout into a museum and then move onto other projects.

nice work! while i do not model the Dakotas, i do model the Great Northern and Northern Pacific RRs. (but have other midwest RRs as well that i run on my layout (DM&IR, Milw. Rd, et. al.)

@Aaron Thanks! I’m hoping to give an update this summer after the Rocky Mountain Region convention in Rapid City is done. Then I can refocus on trackwork and getting my locomotives rebuilt.
