What are good colors for dirty washes on locomotives and freight cars??
Hello, quick question on what colors do you all use if you do the acrylic washes on a locomotive and freight cars?
I am thinking the colors you would find at Hobby Lobby that are relatively cheap. Colors for grime, dirt, rust??, etc.
The budget is tight!

I hope somebody has done this so they can help you, I personally do not have experience with this!

mostly I think it would be a mater of trial and error, while there are some colors that would seem perfect. the color that you are trying to weather over has a bearing as well. trying to do rust on white cars verses brown cars will look different. thus some adjustment will be needed to get the desired effect.
