Need advice on filming my models
Heyo,
I wanted to try myself at creating videos for the general genre on youtube. Would you be willing to judge my most recent work?
@Modeltrainmedia should i change the account type if I start sharing my videos frequently here?

No you can decide for yourself what account type you would like to have. It is totally fine to have both because for now there is not really a difference between the two account types.
Later this could change but then you will know.
But cool that you want to start creating video’s more often it looks awesome this video!
Great job!😀

You are off to a good start
I really like the shots where the trees partially obstruct the trains, it feels really natural
I would suggest adding some movement to the shots where your camera is just standing still, by adding slow pans or zooms in your editing software and using a tripod for moving shots whenever possible
For Modeltrains i would suggest a shutter speed of atleast 1/100 to avoid motion blur on the moving trains (and a matching fps of 50)
High aperture shots tend to look more realistic, but require lots of light, so they can be hard to pull off without proper lighting equipment
Ive just created a group for people that want to improve their pictures and videos of modeltrains and share advice with each other
You are welcome to join if you want
