Painted the roads!
I started painting the roads on my layout restoration project!
I think now it is the right tint of gray. Let me know what you think!

To me it looks good. The question is, are you happy with the results? It is your railroad, make it yours. Regarding the color of the roadway, in real life it varies. There are many types of roadways and within them many variations of color. Freshly laid asphalt is different from old asphalt which is weathered. Even repaired patches have a different shade. The bottom line is are you satisfied with the result?

@casey-jones You are right but it is always nice to hear other people’s ideas. I am pretty happy with the result however I do want some extra variation with the rocks. But I really think that it will look awesome when I can add the greenery so green static grass and nice trees. That will really elevate the look! Really looking forward to share that with the community😁

Looks good! For added realism you could add small patches of fresh dark black pavement using black paint, which would represent any areas where they maybe patched a pothole or replaced an underground pipe.
