Question about good resources to have to learn DCC??
Hello, besides being a part of a model railroad club–which isn’t an option where i live at this moment–what are some good resources to help someone become more versed in the finer points of DCC? For example, I see Model Railroader has some reference books, some new, some older.
Thanks!

I learned from watching You Tube videos. There are videos that cover how to wire your layout for ddc, selecting which system that is best for you, adjusting CVs, speed matching, etc. You can find them specifically for the system you are using and also good overviews of several systems.

Same. The DIY and Digital Railroad Youtube channel has a couple of videos on this.

Thank you for the information!

As others have stated above, all good resources…and also Soundtraxx does offer some nice webinars as well on their corporate site. Of course most cover their products but all in all, good information/video assets on their site.

If DCCWiki is still online it’s an excellent site with understandable but in-depth articles. Here’s one about DiY DCC but they also cover the main commercial makers. https://dccwiki.com/Do_It_Yourself
