So how do you model a tunnel that connects Europe to Africa? Do you model the two port cities and then shorten the 123km tunnel to make it fit? Since it is in Europe I see that it will be an electric train, but which one will become the next Big Boy, Mallard, or Orient-Express?
Great for modeling under any rail system. Spanish and Moroccan countries will decide it. Since it is high speed will it be the Al Boraq or the Talgo 350.

I guess that would be similar to modeling the Chunnel between England and France. Try finding some clear plastic pipe or tubing 4 inch (10 cm) diameter for HO scale. if your layout connects two rooms, put Europe on one side of the wall and Africa on the other. This would allow you to shorten the space and visually have little impact on the shorter distance,
