When I started Model Train Media, my goal was never to create just another website. The hobby already has forums, Facebook groups, YouTube channels, and countless places to share photos.
What I felt was missing was a place built entirely around one simple idea:
Bringing model train enthusiasts together.
Not through algorithms. Not through endless scrolling.
But through genuine conversations, shared knowledge, and a passion for the hobby we all love 🙂
A great community is not built by software. It is built by people.
Every question answered. Every piece of advice shared. Every encouraging comment. Every newcomer welcomed.
These are the things that turn a platform into a community!
My vision for Model Train Media is simple:
To become the friendliest model train community in the world.
A place where beginners feel comfortable asking questions.

The future of this hobby depends on more than manufacturers, retailers, or content creators.
It depends on us.
