SOU “Murphy Branch” (East)
I have officially started my new layout. I have plans to build a pretty extensive layout spanning from Asheville, NC to Sylva, NC on the Southern’s Murphy Branch. I have all the rail laid and powered up in my condensed version of the Asheville Roundhouse near Murphy Junction.

Here are the Athearn Blueboxes I have painted, decaled, and detailed for Progressive Rail. #37 is done and will be the main locomotive on my shelf layout of their Airlake Industrial Park. I modeled the details myself, printing them with my resin 3D printer. #33 is still in progress, with FRA striping being added. On the prototype, it works…

Nothing too extravagant. Made a simple track design using Scarm. Lots of room for improvement.

Not too bad
Built two benches, along with cross braces that aren’t pictured. Not too bad at considering it’s my first attempt and I’ve never been good at building anything 🙂
