I did paint the base brown and apply grass before using the snow, just because I felt it was best to get it a bit more believable to me.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I picked this up at a train show recently. Managed to upfit it with a Loksound Micro board, which added interior lighting.</p>
</p>
<p>I was able to keep the assembly as close to factory as possible. I do like how the Japanese models are put together, even if some of the clips can be tricky. </p>
</p>
<p>Kadee #148s fit right in with a single washer underneath to&hellip;</p>

<p>The mountains shape was transferred roughly to card.  This was to allow a light spraying of red oxide primer to follow the mountains shape.  The sun followed in matte white, a round cutout to make the shape.  An old piece of wood allowed some lightly&hellip;</p>

The mountains were recoloured in pale green, Tamiya clearcoat smoke and a scraping of countertop chalk finish grey spraypaint for snow caps.  A re-application of smoke followed by matte black&hellip;</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The large logo JR Freight EF65 was a mild curiousity when depots went to extraordinary lengths to trial colours on their allocated locomotives.  Personally, as a fan of BR&#8217;s large logo era, I think this really hit the mark as far as liveries go.</p>

The station trackplan featured yard space for general freight, which included coal, livestock and distillery traffic.  As my stock is 95% Japanese, it was easy to utilise the trackplan and reimagine a change in scenery and location.  The&hellip;</p>
