Made a board, 3 layers of foam and spray painted using cans.  Very basic and just needed something down in a hurry.  Technically not fine work and plenty of dodgy bits if scrutinised hard.</p>

This helix only requires the track to pass under itself once, at the bottom.  I will have 4 occupancy detectors to show location of trains traveling through this helix with LEDs.</p>

The module is compatible with Kato mini diorama modules but is pretty large for a mini dio. I made it so I could photograph my 3D printed alumina hopper wagons.
