Hi all! I’ve had an interest in trains for virtually my entire life. I’m certain it’s a hereditary trait since there’s been a long line of railroaders in both my paternal and maternal families.

I received my first train for Christmas in 1958. I still have it and it still runs!!

Over the years I’ve had several layouts in HO scale (and one O scale), been a member of a few clubs and even was a co-owner of a hobby store.

I hope to be able to share my experiences here with others as well as learn new methods, techniques and technologies from other members of this site.
