Started out like we all did with Lionel as a boy. When I was about 13 my dad made me a small 3×4 table that was cut out to hold a MRC transformer that was dual. I had this in my bedroom and it was N scale. After being married for about 10 years I built bench work for HO scale. Taking the full basement it became to challenging and took to much room. sadly it never made it past the bench work stage. Maybe about 10 years later I built rooms in the basement and now have a N scale layout in a 12×12 room. It’s coming along but it’s a lifelong hobby. Working shift work and juggle other interests it’s been hard for me to spend time down here. Im planning on retiring in about 6 months so my goal is to finish getting track down and run some trains.
