It’s the early 70s and we caught this Amtrak train heading over the spillway towards its terminus at Crescent City. The engines are Rapido and the cars are a mix of Walthers and Rapido Trains Inc. .

My new Rapido Sd7 demonstrator has arrived. It’s certainly one of my favorite looking locomotives that I currently own.

The spillway is a favorite spot to railfan The Crescent Lines and today was certainly a special treat.

A Crescent Lines Manifest crosses the spillway between Spanish Fort & Ellison. Founded in 1956 The Crescent City Model Railroad Club models the fictitious Crescent Lines River Division.
