Dry brushed for the first time!
I finished the last bit of static grass and added subtle dry brushing to bring out more depth and texture. The difference is small… but it completely changes the realism.
Next step: ballasting the last parts of track properly
After that, I want to upgrade the trees to something even more realistic.

Proceeded with ballasting
Today I proceed with weathering the ballast.
it was actually my first time ever dry brushing ballast so I was very curious to find out how difficult it would be.
When starting out I expirimented with a small part of track on my layout.

Layout update!
I planted all of the trees and now the next step is to ballast all of the track.
afterwards I will focus on installing the signals and I am looking forward to keep making my layout more realistic everyday!
