I am a retired live mix sound engineer/truck driver and started back into model railroading a couple of years ago when I found a box of old N scale rolling stock from the late 80’s as I was finally unpacking stuff that had been in boxes in storage for decades.  I loved trains as a kid but never having a true mentor to teach me things I always gave up on my layouts before they even became close to being “finished”.

I built a 15 x 7 U shaped DC controlled N scale layout which I call the River Valley Railway.  I am a terrible YouTube video maker but am going to do a “walk around” with my iphone in the near future to give everyone an idea of my track plan and work done.

I am by no means a “magazine quality” model maker and as I still use old style Rapido couplers, I have no plans to even attempt super realism scenery making.
