A picture from my old apartment layout. I salvaged a fairly large plank and set up some temporary track I got for free from a local train show. Here, I have a Wabash local passenger train passing through the yard as a few other trains wait their turn. All the ties in the pile are hand-cut.

This is my work-in-progress N scale micro layout for an as-of-yet unnamed railroad. The minimum radius is a tight 6″, which means only the smallest locomotives and shortest rolling stock can handle the curves and work the line.
