My first laser cut product
I’ve added a small laser cutter to the arsenal, so I’ve been doing a bit of design for it. This is my first laser cut product- a small arbour to add some variety to gardens.
There will probably be more small structures coming over the next few months.

A small shelter for the quietest corner of a garden on your layout. This simple kit is laser cut from 1/32" basswood, simply cut the parts loose and assemble with a little wood glue.

Japanese Boat Charter Office
Maybe a bit specialised, but many layouts feature ports. And this little building could also be the office and shop of a car sales or rental outfit, or some other small business.

New in my shop- Japanese Boat Charter Office
I’ve added a new design to my shop. It’s a small site office, with commercial space downstairs and an office upstairs. I’m calling it a boat charter office, because that’s what inspired it, but it could also be the office for car sales/rental, or other similar businesses.
Also available in Z gauge, so I’ll put a post over there…

Merchant licences available for Spinneyworld designs
I now have over 150 designs for 3D print. They’re not all model railway related, but Z and N gauge vehicles are the current growth areas. Prints of as many as possible are kept in stock in my store, but I only have one printer, and limited time. Shipping around the world is also an issue, and can be expensive. Local shops could serve the…

Road marking stencils
I’ve recently added some road marking stencils to my shop- https://spinneyworld.com/collections/spinneyworld-originals
They are for a Mini Roundabout and direction arrows.
If anyone has suggestions for other markings they’d like to see, please tell me in the comments.

Manchester Model Railway Show 2025
This year’s show marked the centenary of Manchester Model Railway Society. I think I got footage of every one of the layouts on display.

My Model Railway Shop
Please pardon the self promotion, but I hope you might be interested in my shop.
I started it to sell my own designs, but in the last month I’ve been able to list products from some of the UK’s best 3D print teams as well. Which means I’ve got most of the gauges covered now, on top of the Z and N that made up my own contributions.
Hopefully, I…

Finally building my first layout
After years of putting it off, I’ve started to build a layout. It’s going to take a while, but I’ll be documenting progress on YouTube.
