What's On My Workbench
Here are a few buildings I’m working on for an On30 small layout I’m working on with an Eastern Appalachian theme. All started with the kits offered by Calvin Witt from his Etsy store with trim and LED lighting added.

Guys, I am looking for some help on the best way to wire a DPDT (ON)/Off/(ON) to operate both my turnouts and signals, which will change them from red to green or vice versa when I throw the switch for the turnout. I am feeding the turnouts with one power pack and the signals with another. I am using Kato Unitrack. Thanks!

Operating Session on Bob Wundrock's Rice Lake, Dallas & Menomonie HO scale layou
I want to thank Bob Wundrock for hosting a fun operating session today. Instead of working as a yardmaster today, I ran a scheduled passenger train from Ashland Wisconsin to Minneapolis Minnesota, and then ran a local freight from Duluth Minnesota thru Rice Lake and Barrons setting out and picking up freight cars before terminating in Minneapolis.

OSCAR the Gr.625.100
Meet Oscar! You work out the reference.
Saw this engine at a show, fell in love, found the exact same engine again at another show and purchased it! I kinda wanted one of these for a while, and upon discovering how valuable these particular models are, decided to not pass up the opportunity.
And now, she lives with me!

Tan y Mynydd has a backscene! Admittedly it’s a bit of a temporary fix, so far from perfect, but I like that it feels that bit more immersive, like it’s actually living in a real miniature world rather than just my bedroom😅

Turntable work
The first thing I’m working on now that my benchwork is complete is my turntable. Last night, I finished painting all the cobbles in the pit. Hopefully I’ll be able to install it and get it working soon
