Detailing on the R17s,the middle car shows the early 80s white painted scheme, but now faded with rust bubbling through.

Here are some more images of my partly elevated New york city transit model, first we have a section where the twin tracks plunge into a tunnel,i was unsure how to achieve this section, but decided to model a concrete portal, with a factory building built above it.I still have the 3rd rail to add to this.

Just a quiet afternoon at home. Set this up for the kids. Only got a chance to record the last of it as the 2 older boys got bored.

I’ve now completed the controller I posted about yesterday. All 3 controllers work well, but one of the switches was apparently defective so it rarely works in one of the directions. Otherwise, they work great. Slow-speed control is great good by my standards. Better than my Bachman starter set controller.

Model Train show in Gadsden, AL on September 20. Everyone in the area should come to this one as it is one of the few in the area.

Pro tip! If you’re going to put your newly-sprayed rail car in the oven for a low temp cure:
1. Make sure the oven is ACTUALLY set to low temperature
2. Don’t walk away and get distracted by something shinyFollow me for more helpful tips 🤣
