For those of you that like steamers, this little Z Scale locomotive came out last summer. Rokuhan did it’s first locomotive for the US Market with a Baltimore & Ohio 0-6-0. These little things are fast! They are available in 3 different road numbers.

So in Z scale you can find double-slip turnouts for almost exactly twice as much as two single turnouts (shipping taken into account) but in terms of functionality, usability, appearance, fun (assuming we consider derailing “not fun”) would a double-slip be any better or worse than two left-hand turnouts facing each other?

I see there is a big following of Z scale. That is the one thing has really been hard to find is some Z scale layouts to show up for a train show.
