Another project I’ve been working on. This is a stone arch bridge carved from a scrap piece of foam. Next step is a light coat of paint and some various other washes/finishes.

Got the ballasting done on my 2ft by 4ft diorama. I learned some new tricks to make the ballast look better than on past layouts. These include using 91% isopropyl alcohol and using a pipette for applying the glue.

Little more work completed on the canal. I added some highlights to the rock faces. I also added some olive paint around the rocks in the canal itself. Still need to add more between the rocks to show water flow areas. Hopefully when water is poured, this will show a good transition between the shallow and deeper spots.
