I was born in Australia and grew up in mainly in New Zealand and at the age of 13 we went to visit my stepfather’s family in the UK. I remember seeing a Class 08 shunter. It blew me away. Hey, this is kinda neat.
I’m based out of West Michigan, but grew up near the Illinois Railway Museum. Plenty of good railroading out in that area.
I mostly do locomotive and electrical work, but I’ve been digging in to rolling stock projects and a lot of layout design, as well as L-Gauge modeling and operations.
