Hey everyone, I’m wanting to build a N scale layout of Sodor, but I’m US based and struggling to find anything besides US and European buildings. Is there anywhere to buy British building kits? Or is there something I can do to old European buildings to make them look correct?

One of those rare show specials (AUD$139.95 to… you’ll never believe this, AUD$25), I couldn’t hand my money over fast enough!
It got detailed up with the parts and was at the time one of my more advanced details works. After that, it became a true workhorse and has pulled some incredible amounts of freight on the toughest gradients.

Layout is taking shape. I just added a few hills, painted everything, and added some blended turf. Just waiting on the trestle kits from Blair Line as well as the cork roadbed. Hopefully after that the layout will be up and running by next weekend. Once running it will be ready to be displayed at Railfair 2025 at the McCormick-Stillman…

New here saying hello. Currently working with N scale. I do have HO as well but in storage. Now living in Delaware building new layouts. It would be nice to meet up to share experiences.

I’ve now completed the controller I posted about yesterday. All 3 controllers work well, but one of the switches was apparently defective so it rarely works in one of the directions. Otherwise, they work great. Slow-speed control is great good by my standards. Better than my Bachman starter set controller.

Anyone have some good pictures of inspiration for a simple oval with a passing side?

So I’ve finally decaling my new steam locomotive/character Eri, though, here are a few notes: I’m bad at decaling, like very bad, so don’t expect good work; secondly, I’ve lost the bell, so Eri is going to be bell-less until I’ve found another bell.
