Got this Kato F7A for a birthday present and wanted to get passenger cars for it ever since. Its just too pretty a model to be wasted on freight. Mid-June I finally found some for a halfway decent price. I want to get another Kato 4-pack to have a 12-car train with an observation at some point, but for now the 8 cars will be just fine.
If only…

Does anyone know where I could buy the Bachmann Unlettered N Scale Auxiliary water car? I’ve been looking everywhere, but couldn’t find a site where it’s in stock.

You might be crazy if… you model more than 1 scale at a time! In addition to HO scale, I currently am making an N scale twice around loop for my sons. Once done, this will hopefully look like southern California. We’re currently building a foam mountain to hide the crossover, giving the illusion of the train leaving and it coming back as a…

I don’t really have much to share regarding my N scale trains at the moment. I hope to begin construction of my layout soon. In the mean time, here’s my 5 N scale locomotives. They are in order of when I got them, with the Bachman GP40 as my first and the Kato ES44AC as my most recent.

I was working on a new snowy themed layout for a project, still a lot to be done I hope to be finished within 2 months so it will be exciting to see how it will turn out!
Let me know if you like the project and what I should add to the layout!

Just wanted to share, Michaels has these little goodies in stock. I can’t help but think the little scoops would be so helpful for ballasting.

#sleeper Sunday.
Sadly, the Blue Trains fell out of favour and sleepers tend to be very rare now.

I have an idea for a layout that uses forced perspective. It will have the near ground be the outskirts of a city with N-gauge, while the distant portion will be Z-gauge. The focus will be on trolleys. Does anybody know of a trolley design that is available in both gauges? While I’d prefer something from the mid-1900s, I’m open to anything. Thanks.
