  • Layout track test

Good evening & Happy Sunday everyone, hope you all had a good weekend.

I decided to put all the track I had following the layout plan I made in SCARM and oh boy I’m missing quite a lot but still glad with how it came out thus far.

I’m definitely looking forward to getting more tracks, the foam base, and overall really get started fully on…

  • Part of the Gulliver's gate exhibit

This is a HO scale structure built by the builders of Gulliver’s gate Trinity church downtown Manhattan.

    The detail is awesome.

  • MEC 6409, a 40′-6″ IL 3934 cuft boxcar from MEC series 6385-6434; from MEC series 8000-8249 built by Pullman-Standard, Lot 5999A, May-51. Rebuilt in 5/73. Photo at Burnham Junction, Maine on 9/2/83 by Steve Vincent.

Even though this is the 80s, the car wouldn’t have looked much different a decade earlier.

  • 16 Ft. Z Scale Layout!!!

Here’s the early stages of my new layout. I’m putting 4 shelves on the wall to serve as the base and then I’ll build the layout itself on 4 foam modules. This is only half the length so far. I have to do some more rearranging to make it fit. I’m looking forward to be able to run longer Z Scale trains!

I ultimately have a 10ft by 2ft section available, with the last 2ft having the ability to stick out a further 2ft, making an “L” shaped…

  • Last Ops Session of the year

Yesterday I spent a pleasant 3 hours operating on the Riverside Transfer. The only layout I know on Manhattan that holds regular sessions. You might see Heath on his regular Wednesday night YouTube live streams as “Humanity Junction”.

  • Unoki Renovation 3: Part 3

Kato’s wheel chocks prove useful in this regard, struggling to fit the different brand track.

Next will be to power it up and see what is working.
