Bachmann’s 170 might be showing its age now, but it still adds to a scene just nicely.

It might have all the detail of a pencil sketch, but there is a lot of charm in Hornby’s 142 model, I feel.

Working on a dual gauge layout. I want my oo9 to go over the oo main. Anyone know what size inclines from woodland scenics or other brands are the best for clearing the main line? Thanks in advance

This is my WIP exhibition layout, Ashleigh Branch. A fictitious line located in South East England using the stations that used to exist at Rothbury and Ventnor as reference and inspiration. There isn’t really any good information in the box to show what type of decoder is needed, so I am asking those on…- View more comments

It had to be done… I couldn’t make a little green saddle tank and ‘not’ turn it into a wooly catapillar. Some people think Percy’s based on ‘Trojan’ or another Avonside saddle tank right?

Palmerston running around a curve with a rake of slate wagons, because you can’t have a narrow gauge line set in Wales without slate wagons🚂
