Murphy Branch East
Four months ago, I embarked on a journey to build the eastern reaches of the Murphy Branch in North Carolina. The modelled portion of the line will run from Waynesville, NC to Sylva, NC and will include the Balsam Grade. The selected era is 1945-1953, and will feature steam and streamlined diesels.
I have recently started weaving the cardboard base and doing some plaster work near Balsam. All track will be handlaid code 70, and the layout is 100% modular and built on my own personal standards. More updates to come!

Excellent work! Thanks for sharing and your layout plan looks very similar to one of my previous layouts (On3). Keep us updated and continue the great work. Always an amazing amount effort, time and commitment to build a layout.

Play any Railroader for some inspiration? I think the game is Sylva onwards (to Andrews). Looks like you have some nice space to work with.
