This really does heat up in about 20 seconds, great for on the spot jobs, uses lithium iron batteries and will hold a charge for months without use(and is charged with a micro usb plug
With the glue sticks supplied it can and does dribble a little bit, if I set it down while I’m working, turning it off the moment you stop using it helps, not an issue and heats up quickly when it turns on again, most other glue guns do the same
