Railroad crossings and refurbished coaches

Railroad crossing
I have handpainted some lining on my railroad crossing. Not sure if I should add yellow diagonal lines. My layout is representing the main street and station of a small market town in the early 60s. What do you think?

Favorite loco
What is your guys favorite loco of any time period? Any railway, anywhere. Mine personally is either the A3 or the 14xx. I mean come on, the A3 is just beautiful. And im still waiting for Dapol to just realease the bloody 14xx so I can get one of those instead of a crappy hornby one. They really need to upgrade their locos.

Build along railway!
So uh yeah, Im gonna take suggestions from yall, and if I like it, bang, on the layout. I might even ask for an ENTIRE model layout in the corner of my room for yall to go to town with. I got this idea from that model railway guy, great dude. Oh and comment your ideas, anything flies like a hill or a specific building.
