I recently got myself a shiny new Prusa Core One L and after running it in on some pre-made models and useful things (such as pen holders, paint holders, and the officially released Xenonite Grace model from the Project Hail Mary movie) I’m now gearing up to print some model related stuff.

Blue Box F59-PHI DCC conversion

As I’ve progressed along my learning curve with 3D Printing, I’ve experimented to see what happens if, and the results haven’t always been successful. Not catastrophic either but a long way from optimal.

One of the things that we tested with our new Bambu Lab P1S at work was various tools and aids. One of these was a bench vice. Okay, it’s never going to be engineering quality, printed in plastic, but as a travel vice for modelling, it’s just about perfect!

When our company bought a 3D Printer, specifically a Bambu Lab P1S, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to print some wagons. Not knowing CAD, I’ve found that Thingiverse and Makerworld are excellent starting points where people share their CAD files for others to print, so long as it’s for personal use only.
