I have to admit, I do have one grip with the latest Class 37 over the previous model offered. The inability to keep the default coupler and have the ploughs in place. It used to be possible, but now it is one piece and can’t be done. Not without heavy modding and hoping the glue is strong enough.
So every trip in the box is a bit of a fear…

Sometimes the solution to a problem is to just not bother at all.
A local MicroAce EF64 was found to be deficient in traction tyres to the tune of one, so I fashioned one out of the good old bottle of Bullfrog Snot (fun fact, it is a hilariously corrosive substance, as the rusted and rotted lid that failed on it proved). But it turns out……

My first diorama
Modelled something a bit different back in 2012. Utilising track that couldn’t support a running railway anymore, I made up a small winter scene. I did paint the base brown and apply grass before using the snow, just because I felt it was best to get it a bit more believable to me.
