I thought I would share a few pictures of my HO shelf layout, Brooklyn Park. It made me realise that I need some new pictures lol

Roundhouse TTX 60′ flatcar decks before and after…a little tan and grey paint, then some washes really bring out the old “pressure treated wood”

New Points! I got some new right hand turnouts that I shall use in the construction of a branch terminus set in a small seaside town called ‘Mickwick’.

    Hello!

I don’t do too much modelling as of rn, however I intend that to change, I have a couple ideas on my radar but mostly for modelling the Talyllyn Railway in 009 and BR 1950s WR in 00 gauge.

My most recent project is the image below, which was the last thing I worked on before I took a break. Im waiting to get a proper BR castle to do this,…

    Hello, from Australia!

I’ve iust joined because I would love to ditch traditional social media for one with iust trains and model trains! Anyhow, here are two Freem009 modules i’m constructing as the Freem009 – Australia movement gains traction and momentum!

Been working on this U50 for a costumer.

First with an airbrush Ive faded the paint and then with oils.

Next step its to airbrush some semi gloss varnish to can work with other effects.

Owner wants an almost dead line look for his U50. I hope you’ll like it.

    Cheers from Chile!

The only US loco I own, purchased about 10 years on eBay for £15 😂. As this site seems to be more US focused for now, I thought it might be a good place to show her off…

Hi! Been modeling and collecting HO trains for 30+ years. I’m in the northeast Ohio/northwest Pennsylvania area. Lately I have been going through and letting go of things that either don’t fit my era and or railroads that I model, so if anyone is interested you can let me know what you model, and maybe I will have something you would be…

A new structure project landed on my desk yesterday from a couple of friends and long time supporters of my Youtube Channel. Brothers Ken and Richard Oehrig both own K&R Custom Models. They specialize in 3D Printed signals for the O and G scale market. Back when I modeled in O I used some of their signals on my layout and we became friends in…

Hello, I learned of this site from a post by Lucy at NMRA. It sounds like a cool site!

I model the Texas & Pacific Railway and their connections in East Texas, circa 1950, in HO scale.

Hi everyone- I’m Tom. I live in California, and I’m a member of the Sacramento Modular Railroaders club. Lately I’ve been a big fan of dioramas as fun, bite-sized projects to exercise some modeling muscles and to practice techiques. Here is a Miniprints.com peanut butter lid challenge entry I did last year I’m rather proud of. HO scale.
