SOU “Murphy Branch” (East)
I have officially started my new layout. I have plans to build a pretty extensive layout spanning from Asheville, NC to Sylva, NC on the Southern’s Murphy Branch. I have all the rail laid and powered up in my condensed version of the Asheville Roundhouse near Murphy Junction.

HO Progressive Rail Locomotives
Here are the Athearn Blueboxes I have painted, decaled, and detailed for Progressive Rail. #37 is done and will be the main locomotive on my shelf layout of their Airlake Industrial Park. Operating Session on Bob Wundrock's Rice Lake, Dallas & Menomonie HO scale layou
I want to thank Bob Wundrock for hosting a fun operating session today. Instead of working as a yardmaster today, I ran a scheduled passenger train from Ashland Wisconsin to Minneapolis Minnesota, and then ran a local freight from Duluth Minnesota thru Rice Lake and Barrons setting out and picking up freight cars before terminating in Minneapolis.

Saw this engine at a show, fell in love, found the exact same engine again at another show and purchased it! I kinda wanted one of these for a while, and upon discovering how valuable these particular models are, decided to not pass up the opportunity.
