Hi everyone,
I have somehow become the DCC guy at the store. I am getting to be proficient doing installations and using the LokProgrammer to get the sounds and the NCE for addressing and resetting decoders, etc. What I am lacking in is the more advanced programing. I have a customer who would like his headlights to dim for “rule 17”. …

Thanks to @ImperialExpress306.02 , Gabriel now operates in the correct direction!
The lights need to be re-wired, but I can do that later. One of them needs a new resister anyway.
Thank youuu! <3

Lets take a poll here and get to know each other better. Favorite locomotive, favorite scale, and reasons behind your choices. For me, it’s hard to narrow it down to one locomotive, but my HO Scale Shay is up there on the list. Gotta love those mountain engines and my wife and I rode a train pushed by a shay on our honeymoon. My favorite…

The only Austrian loco I have. A Ă–BB 93 with a Giesl chimney. I named it Gabriel!
Found this engine on eBay some years ago, quite liked it, so I bought it. It’s made by Kleinbahn, It runs ok, but I don’t run It all that much because the motor is wired backwards. I don’t know how to fix it yet…
However, I’m hoping by Sunday, this won’t…

DMM works Matchbox class (This one being named by It’s hire-outs as ‘The Doctor’) working on the Isle whilst the Swiss engine is being overhauled.
Thank you to @DoubleM for gifting me the body kit. <3 It still has a bit to go before I’m content with It’s (for now) complete status, but It’s looking good! Kinda wanting to go the dieselpunk…

The biggest as they come.
In 1947 the Great Northern Railway took delivery of two massive 5,000 H.P. electric locomotives for the electrified mainline through the Cascade mountains between Wenatchee and Skykomish, Washington.
The 5018 and the 5019, classed as W-1’s, were the largest single engine electric locomotives built in the world.

I thought I’d share photos of my Accurascale and Cavalex class 60’s.
I work in the steel industry so these liveries are definitely my favourites.
What are your favourite liveries from around the world?

I don’t know to many people in this hobby who don’t like owning models of trains they remember seeing in real life and I am certainly no exception.
While I do have a models I’ve seen locally, I also enjoy collecting models I have seen in my various travels across the U.S.A.Two of my favorite ones are pictured here. First up is Union Pacific…

Hypotypical
Back in December of 2024 I added a Scaletrains Rivet Counter HO-scale GE ET44AC to my fleet. This was not unlike others from the line I had bought and reviewed on my channel prior to this moment, but this was my first GEVO from their new line of Hypotypical Models. Basically Scaletrain’s take on “What If” models, the first run…
