The spillway is a favorite spot to railfan The Crescent Lines and today was certainly a special treat.

Hi everyone! Any other New England modelers? I grew up with Guilford and then Pan Am, and picked up some models over the years after moving away from Massachusetts. It was a great way to remind me of home while in the midwest.

I just thought I’d share some pictures of a couple of my Locos. All have been weathered and in the case of NYAR 261, full details added. All are fitted with DCC sound (Soundtraxx) and keep alives.

Knocked out some old projects over the extended Labor Day weekend. Three new cabooses now on the layout, two locomotives getting striping and lettering for my Kanawha, Youngstown & Northern and some SPST switches wired in for powering the staging tracks at Wheeling.

I’ve been in the hobby for several decades. I’m building a layout loosely based on the UP line between Cheyenne and Denver centered on Greeley, CO. I call the layout, Greeley Junction.

Though I mostly model Canadian Pacific and the modern CPKC, Southern Pacific plays a big roll in my collecting of models.
