I also model with my other half Keith who does N gauge and OO, so we manage to cover nearly every scale. In my day job I am the Design Engineer / Cad Engineer for…

Greetings all. I’m Ian and I am most definitely a “rubber gauger” I model in any scale that interests me. My current layout is called Bontofts Sand and Gravel. It’s 16mm scale and 32mm gauge track to represent a 2’ gauge sand carrying line. It features working wagon loading and tipping.

Shared the link in some S scale groups. One person opinion is that because S scale isn’t specifically listed the platform isn’t worth their time. Other S scalers need to realize that the scale wont grow if things that are catered to you arent worth your time.

A Question across the community:
Which model railway magazines do you have in your country?
Here in Germany are the popular one:

Haven’t got much on the workbench at the moment, but I went through some photos of the 2024 Sandown Hobby show here in Melbourne. Unfortunately didn’t realise until I got home that I had the wrong settings on so these were the best of a bad bunch. Haven’t been able to get to any show this year so far but hoping to get to Sunbury in October to…
